+# Framer Motion Removal - TopNavigation Component
+
+## Summary
+Successfully refactored `ui/desktop/src/components/Layout/TopNavigation.tsx` to remove ALL framer-motion dependencies and replace them with pure CSS animations.
+
+## Changes Made
+
+### 1. Removed Components
+- ❌ `<AnimatePresence>` wrapper - replaced with simple conditional rendering
+- ❌ `<motion.div>` elements - replaced with standard `<div>` elements
+- ❌ `<motion.button>` elements - replaced with standard `<button>` elements
+
+### 2. Removed Animation Props
+All framer-motion specific props were removed:
+- `initial`
+- `animate`
+- `exit`
+- `transition`
+- `whileHover`
+- `whileTap`
+
+### 3. Added CSS Classes

+Instead of framer-motion's stagger prop, we use inline styles:
